Here's why (and feel free to try and refute any of this)

1. Genocide is the systematic eradication of a race, ethnic group, etc. If what Israel is doing is genocide why are there still Palestinians in areas that Israel occupies in Gaza?

2. There are 5.3 million ethnic Palestinians living in Israel. If Israel is committing genocide why haven't they killed those Palestinians off?

3. If Israel is committing genocide, why are they allowing any form of humanitarian relief and supplies into Gaza at all?

4. In other historical genocides, high percentages of the targeted group(s) occurred, usually 10 to 50% or more. In Gaza, the pre-war population was about 2.14 million. Depending on whose numbers you want to believe total casualties in the war there so far barely reach 2% of the population and that number includes both all Palestinian combatants and civilians. Most casualty figures do not differentiate between the two.

5. From best estimates, about 52% of all casualties reported in Gaza are men. Hamas and Hamas friendly media report that only about 8% are men. Israel claims over 13,000 Palestinian combatant casualties while Hamas rarely makes claims about their losses but generally admits to about 2,000.

6. The casualty rate in Gaza is falling and falling dramatically and exponentially. That is, fewer people are being killed or wounded there today than when the war first started.

Israel's goal is not only to kill all Palestinians but to steal their country. Quit offering up Jews as the victims. They're the perpetrators. You clearly haven't read any Jabotinsky or ben Gurion.

Again, what do you suggest Israel does to stop future attacks by Hamas? Stopping the current war, before Hamas is thoroughly defeated and removed from power, is only going to allow Hamas to regroup and attack again.
