In about two weeks!

Was that Kasie Hunt?
I haven't seen her in years.

She used to be on MSNBC, the cable news channel that I occasionally watch,
although not as frequently as I once did.
Watching the news gives me chest pain now.

I'm glad the brain tumor removal was successful for her.
I used to like her, but I don't watch CNN.
MSNBC stuck her on a 5AM gig, so I can understand why she left.

Yes. She's been on CNN for years. She did an early morning gig on CNN for several years and recently began hosting an afternoon show.

I never knew she had a brain tumor.

I'll draw this line in the sand... If you cross it I'll draw another line... If you cross that one I'll go home, lock the door and won't come to the door if you ring the bell!

Trump definitely has a few more cards than Zelensky, but the bottom line is they're doozies. From what I can see, there are only 2 real possibilities- either the U.S. walks away from the Ukraine debacle or it escalates things to a nuclear war. Honestly, I'd rather Trump keep on saying 2 weeks until his term runs out. It sure beats a nuclear holocaust.

That's the way comrade Putin sees it too, tovarish!

Fortunately, a third option is still in play: keep supplying the Ukrainians with arms to defend themselves. If Putin wants to go nuclear, I'm certain a couple of Russian generals or security police will put a bullet in the back of his head or help him step out the window. LOL

I do believe that Putin does see things this way as well, which is why he has -tried- to work with Trump on a reasonable peace deal. The problem is that Trump has yet to understand what such a deal would entail.

Continuing to supply Ukraine with arms will only prolong the fighting due to the false hope that this will somehow change the outcome. If things escalate, I can't see Russia backing down. It seems you seem to think that simply removing Putin from power would make Russia give up all the territory it's taken and head back to old Russia. I suspect that the opposite is likely, especially if there's even a hint that his removal from power was caused by Ukraine or its western allies. There's already evidence that Russian war hawks were chaffing at Putin's attempts to reach a peace deal with Trump:

Make Putin a martyr and things would probably just go from bad to worse, making nuclear war even more likely if the U.S. doesn't back down.

Your continued defense of comrade Putin is noted. :)

Prolong sending the Russian invaders home in body bags? Fine with me. I hear the Russians aren't so happy about it. LOL

You're so focused on Putin that you can't even see the obvious- Putin is -not- the most hawkish Russian politician, far from it. He's a centrist, which is why he tried to make a peace deal with the Trump Administration despite the fact that the terms Trump was offering were nowhere near what Russia has been demanding for quite some time now- I suspect Putin's idea is that you have to start somewhere.

For every Russian killed, around 10 Ukrainians are killed. An article that gets into that:

Now, when you combine that with the fact that Russia has almost 4 times as many people, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how this war is going to go, barring a nuclear escalation with western powers. Even then, Ukraine government wouldn't -win-, it's just that they wouldn't be the only ones to lose.

No doubt there are people in Moscow who appreciate your unflagging support for comrade Putin.

Did you read a word I said?

One would hope that these far left loons would cheer for the tariffs to be successful but of course they won’t.

With fair tariffs, Americans would profit and we can’t have Americans profiting from something that President Trump does.

This is why they are called loons.
You IDIOT! Every financial institution and organization that is NOT on the Dump payroll has consistently pointed out that these tariffs are going to screw YOU AND ME BUT GOOD in the not too distant future. Hell, Wall St. speculators are even frowning in earnest.

So far, the impact of Trump’s tariffs hasn’t shown up in monthly inflation reports. But many economists as well as Federal Reserve officials have predicted an uptick in the inflation rate this year, specifically due to tariffs.

Agreed. Most of Trump's disruptions will take time to hit the homes of most Americans. This is why Republicans are already worrying about losing the Midterms and plotting to steal the elections to preserve their control of the Federal government.

Meanwhile, special elections in Florida and Wisconsin have suggested that voters are already fed up with the Trump administration and point to the possibility that the 2026 midterms could be a blue wave. As Trump’s failures continue to mount, Republicans have good reason to fear a backlash.

Perhaps this explains why Trump is intent on bolstering the election denial movement, which has lately notched a number of key victories. On March 25, the president signed Executive Order #14248, “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections,” which neither preserves nor protects our elections but rather undermines them. It is a clarion call to Republicans throughout the nation, who are being encouraged to question the legitimacy of any election loss and ultimately establish a permanent electoral advantage by challenging and removing eligible voters from the rolls. Now, with Trump’s executive order, they have insurance: a way of tipping elections in their favor by choosing the voters rather than having the voters choose them.

Yep, and we will see price continue to fall as the tariffs expose the price gouging already embedded in imports. They will eat most of it, and as for those that don't, good, fewer people will buy the crap. It is stupid to keep propping up the economies of vermin who want to rob you and kill you. I'm sad he reduced the REd Chinese tariffs. But, they will cheat on the agreements, like they always have, and he will be raising them again soon.

When Trump first entered politics, he was questioned about how Melania got into the country and what her education really was. He said I will have a press conference in 2 weeks and explain it all. That was his first use of 2 weeks meaning never.
He will, in two weeks!
