Kagan is Jewish...Does it matter?

Its not self hatrid to admit that someone different may be a better president/senator/representative. I dont want the world to look/be just like me, although that does not mean I am not happy with who I am.

What an illogical jump you just made.

Since you believe it's morally superior to love OTHER more than self, you end up discrinating against people like you. In the warped discourse that passes for intelligent thought on race, it is considered morally laudable to irrationally choose those unlike you over those like you. Self hate has been inculcated within you. sad.

Listen, this voting people of other "faiths" or whatever is not a big deal. I align (as far as I know) closer with McCain religiously than I do Romney but would have voted for Romney over him. Same with Obama. Religiously speaking I align more religiously with him but voted for Cindy instead....of course that was a protest vote. But I have to look at who I think is better for the job. There are things that would keep me from voting for certain candidates but that's just me.

False.....

I'm surprise that they didn't find another catholic. Maybe they'll require her conversion, apparently it's a requirement now.

Precisely Damo. My core beliefs align more with Mormonism than Catholicism. But every "christian" that gets appointed or elected seems to be Catholic.

I guess the difference is that to me its clear that ones religen does not define there morality, political belifes or the way they would handle there jobs.

You have Joseph Donohue and John Kerry, both Catholics and on opposit sides of the political spectrum.

Out of the mouth of one of the better representitives of the far right in this country. I love that quasi-anonimity lets people speak their political mind freely. Maybe you could call her a Christ killer too.

I cannot be classified under your political terms. I am not far right or left, nor liberal. I believe in the Truth.

Even if he picked from UVA, UT or ND, he would still be picking only the elite.

Nope the True elites are ivy educated.

As far as buying your way in? Did you know that in the old and days they used to sell places of power to the highest bidder? Even within Religious establishments. Obviously there would be profit to be made with your investment. When this practice actually ceased? I don't know.

What I do know is this. These people(in government) are not being picked because they are the best for the job(It is clear by their lack of experience). These people are picked because of cronyism. Because they are connected to the elite class.

Who has a lack of experience?

President Obama is Catholic?

Jarod, I was making the point that I won't vote for someone just because they claim to be Christian. My core beliefs do not line up as well with Catholicism (many of our elected and appointed officials) as they do with Mormonism (an extreme minority of our elected and appointed officials). I wasn't making a reference to President Obama in any way.

In Post #42 I talk about President Obama....Note what I said concerning Obama:

Then Damo made the point concerning the Supreme Court and I addressed that in Post #46. Hope this kind of clears up what I was doing.

I understand where you are coming from... and I have respect for your position. To me, to vote for someone based on religen is just as bad as voting for someone based on race, sex, sexual orientation, ect.

Voting should be based on views and ability.

What about the groundbreaking event of having the first black president. Not a big deal? A wrong consideration?

And what are their views? Mostly empty promises. And what are their abilities? Their ability to follow orders from the elite?

Therefore their character, beliefs, experience(track record) and history should be a factor. We need more humble people with humble roots in office. Not these elitists who serve their own wealth. Not the people.

The only problem is the elites would block every attempt of an honest man to make change. They have the money, the power, the influence and control the medias who manipulate public opinion.

I would have a very big problem if the person was an atheist. I'd have a problem if they were homosexuals that would obviously promote immoral behavior. I'd have a problem if they were war mongers.

Kagan said she would round up people from other countries and deny them the right to a trial. Basically hold people all over the world, with just the excuse of accusing them as terrorists without any proof. That is dangerous.

Yup she is a globalist puppet. That will serve THEIR interests and compromise human rights, justice and equality.

As far as her being Jewish? It is no secret that the Jews are probably the highest class of elites that exist. Are there good jews and bad jews? Of course. This one has connections to European banks so I'd place her on the bad side.
