he often admits it before he just then re-asserts they will not.

He knows that Americans will soon see higher prices and less goods on the shelves and that reality cannot be escaped so instead he needs magats to switch to his new message of 'we knew this pain was coming and part of the plan but it is for the long term good'.

We will see a lot of bankruptcies and small businesses going out of business.

Trump is overly influenced by RW media and RW advisers. Reichwing media only shows the Gullibles the upside of Trump's crazy economic strategy. They will never learn the truth unless they start embracing critical thinking. They won't. That's not a cult member trait. When the pain begins, they will hear that it's all Biden's fault and nod in agreement.

He responds well to flattery. It's easy for people with power or influence to manipulate him simply by flattering him and "suggesting" ideas then claiming those ideas were his when he uses them.
 
As the rest of the world looks on thinking "All of the lectures America has issued over my lifetime were BullShit.....just look at how they behave".

Remember that we just went through the so-called Biden administration talking up price controls, with Harris promising that if she were elected she would impose fully Soviet style top down economic controls.
