Can we stop pretending the the right is a bastion of "Christianity?"

There is something wrong with allowing Billionaires to put so much money into elections that they buy favorable taxation and treatment from government (both left and right).
Is this something that all billionaires do? Is that why you hate billionaires so much?
If you want to understand the biggest correlation of why people used to be able to survive on one middle class salary and have a family and a house and why now that is so much harder and you truly want to Make America Great Again then this must fixed...
The "CEO/worker pay gap" is not the problem.
It is not just CEO's but the entire C-Suite whose pay have soared so crazily disproportionately and taking so much more of the corporate salary pie that the rest of the middle class and below no longer get a big enough piece to survive, in the same way, off one salary.
"Ohhhhhh noooooo... there won't be any pie left over for meeeeeeeeeee"
And yet Trump and Magats are currently trying to make the uber rich still richer at the expense of the middle class and below with their 'Big Beautiful Bill' which will trigger the biggest shift upwards of wealth from the working MC and poor to the uber rich.
:lies:

Glad you are amused about the stupidity of the Right.

I am also.

We are one on this.

Let me repeat what you are asking about:

But that is the way things go with the American Right.

If there are any words there you do not understand, let me know and I will explain it.
:cruisewhat:

I've seen left-wing "Christians" on this board engage in slander, libel, and lying, and even when they are proven wrong I can't recall any of them ever expressing the slightest remorse.
Do they claim to be pious Christians, like MAGA does?

I believe we are called to avoid sen as much as possible and to elect leaders who do the same. Nobody is perfect, but some never show remorse or humility and are proud of their sin.
I personally think of sin much differently. However, most in this particular nation still say they believe in this particular way. So, I work with what I have.

Sin is exclusive to Christian theology
Which is part of my point. Not being a Christian... However, sin is also part of Jewish Theology, as well as Islamic. You might want to say it is exclusive to Abrahamic religions, maybe? Though "sin" isn't foreign to even Hindi... though it is thought of differently.

Look at the results of these vicious, unfounded and racist lies about Haitians.

Would Jesus Christ EVER support that? Would he EVER defend that, as most of MAGA is right now?
All one needs to do is Google, "Pro-life Republicans who have made their wives/mistresses get abortions". It's a long and horrible list! I know it's not a strech to assume trump, himself has paid for several.

Christianity has always been right wing. You might want think about that.
Functioning liberal democracy is less than 100 years old, so I'm not going to pat myself on the back for being more enlightened than the Medieval Catholic Church. I had nothing tangible to do with the establishment of liberal democracy.

You can't look at history through the rear view mirror.

For that matter, every single place state atheism has been established, totalitarianism resulted; from the French Revolution, to the Soviet Union, to the Khmer Rouge, to Red China.

Unless you can time travel, how else is history to be seen?
In context, and from the point of view of the people who lived then.

Just retroactively placing 21st century values on 12th century people teaches you nothing about history.
