Swift is a piss poor musician to my mind whereas Springsteen is pretty good if you're into anthemic rock.
In reference to Trump's statements on Swift and Springsteeen, he's frequently pretty bad at diplomacy when it comes to his critics. There are exceptions, such as his dinner with Bill Maher, but it's good to keep in mind that Kid Rock, who gets along fine with Trump, seems to be the one who basically set that up.
As to the pic Comey took of some shells, he's offered a defense that must be taken into account:

I don't know much about Swift's life, but I -suspect- the song is being honest about some of her issues with some of her romances, probably with exageration for effect.
Decided to check out her top song, which I'd heard before:
This was 15 years ago and her crush in the video is a football player. Now, for the past 2 years, she's been with a very well know football player:

Can't say that I've ever heard any of her songs that excites me in any way, dreary is the word that most comes to mind.
It would be weird if you did; her target audiences as both a country artist and pop artist is 12-14 year old girls. lol
I don't hate her, and she is a prolific writer and performer, and knows her market well. I could care less how rich she gets, she's not robbing banks or mugging people. I don't rely on entertainers and musicians to tell me what I should think, like Democrats do, and I don't buy records or go to concerts any more, so they don't affect me in any way. George Clooney is a giant airhead too, but I still like his comedies anyway, same with a lot of actors. I don't expect genius or informed opinions from any of them. They rely on fashion to guide them in their public blatherings.

That's cool. Tastes vary. Millions of people still like & listen to both artists.
It's kind of irrelevant to the discussion. I have noticed that the immediate response of some MAGA's is to dismiss both - really, 2 of the most successful and best-selling artists of all time - simply because they don't agree w/ them.
But to me, the much bigger issue is a sitting President being so incredibly insecure about this kind of criticism, and the nature of his responses - very child-like. I'd wager that if I showed anyone his Truth Social posts 10-15 years ago, and told them "these are from our President in 2025," no one would believe it.

Though I agree with their condemnation of trump's typical asshole droppings, I'm tired of hearing these strongly worded statements out of powerless organizations of celebrities and other lightweights who only give the MAGAssholes something else to laugh and scoff at.
It's like if The National Association of Evangelical Holy Roller Tongues Speaking Faith Healers spoke out strongly against the AMA.
