BREAKING: U.S. Announces China Trade Deal

Here's a picture of the US and China at talks in Switzerland:

That's nice. Did a talk take place and was a deal struck as claimed?

The Trump administrations has not struck a deal…

“Chinese and US negotiators agreed to establish a “trade consultation mechanism” during two days of “constructive” talks in Geneva aimed at tamping down a tariff war, China’s Vice-Premier He Lifeng told reporters.

The two sides “have taken important step to resolve differences through equal dialogue and consultation”, plan to issue a joint statement on Monday, and “conduct further consultations on issues of mutual concern”, state news agency Xinhua reported, citing He.”

China says the deal is a "win-win"... So. Maybe they have.. :dunno:

We'll find out tomorrow.

The guy who is in a listening mode?
You mean the "trade consultation mechanism" isn't enough for you?

My guess is you don't want a deal.

So, today you say "no deal" tomorrow you'll say "capitulate" but regardless, it's all gaslighting. We won't know what the result will be until we see them, but there's a deal, and it looks like there will be more later.

I don't want the prices to raise.

Talking does not
All sane Americans want a deal with China so that America doesn't continue to be eaten alive by the devastating and lopsided
tariffs the Chinks have put on us for a long time now. Trump is getting America's past due when it comes to dealing with many
of the countries in the world. Sort of how Trump got the NATO nations to finally pay their fair share, for it was America paying the
majority of the money in support and of defense of those nations. The Art of the Deal is alive and well--all thanks to the greatest
deal maker (TRUMP) in the entire world.
wanting a deal is different than being thirsty for a deal.

The Trumppers are so desperate they are pretending that there is a deal.

What makes you believe there is a deal?

And leftists are poised to announce Trump's "capitulation"...

Details will be given tomorrow.
If he caves like he has in other negotiations, we will. He took a 10 percent tariff in England and negotiated it to 10 percent. That was amazing. He did allow Rolls-Royce and expensive Brit autos to get a break. It was as good a job as Trump could do.
Yet it is not real. In Trump's first horrible term in office, he negotiated a trade deal with Mexico and Canada. That took 18 months. Now he says he has already done trade deals with 200 countries. Excuse me for not believing him.

What makes you believe there is a deal?
That both parties are saying it tends to make me lean in that direction. It seems that it is an agreement that allows for amendments though.

Anything that China calls "win-win" makes me curious, are they saying it to just make themselves look better at home?
