BAC left for several reasons. The main one, that he and I discussed, was the outright hostility that has replaced debate on this board.

Throwing out an occasional insult is one thing. But what happens here has long ceased being much of a debate and has become personal attacks without end.


BAC and I didn't agree on a lot of subjects, but I respected him.

Me and him probably disagreed on most things, but we each respected the other.. I especially have to commend him politically because Im a Ron Pauler and BAC despises Ron Paul's politics, yet he would volunteer his time to show various Ron Paul meetup groups in his state how do go through different stages of the voting process, getting people on ballots, etc.

He was a congressional staffer so he had a lot of knolwedge on what do to and how to get things done like that.

For the record, the quotes were improperly clipped. BAC said board management was to blame for the downward trajectory and overt racism of the board. That was his quote. Not mine. The downward trajectory of the board, and the increasing obsession with chidlish banter, insults, petty innuendo, and softcore porn is pretty much the fault of the users. That's what happens when you lose posters like BAC, IHateGovernment, Care4All, and OrnotBitwise, and have them replaced with posters like southernman, webbway, et al.
