When they come for you...

Exactly. The problem with MAGAts is that they expect blind obedience to their Orange Jesus just like Germans of the 1930s were expected to do for their leader.

That's unAmerican and goes against the Constitution. Ergo, all MAGAts are enemies of the Constitution.

I recall in the wake of Watergate how many Republicans were appalled and outraged at Nixon's perfidy and wanted him gone. Ditto for his crooked VP Agnew. But now? Now they willingly practically worship a far worse criminal and danger to the nation. None of them dare to stand up and say "Hey, wait a mjinute."

I wrote to our (R) congress critter when this Musk stuff started happening, and expressed my displesure with allowing a non-govt., non-vetted foreigner access to our SSA datza and financial inifo. Got back an instant form letter thanking me for my email. After that, though? *crickets* And he's a retired Marine general.

We are so doomed.

I keep hoping that Congressional Republicans are not blindly following the Orange Jesus but are simply giving him enough rope to hang himself.
Trump's obsession with tariffs and his attacks on the Federal Reserve may do just that.

OTOH, I find it both disturbing and disgusting that elected reps are afraid to speak out against autocratic injustice out of fear of losing their jobs.

They will not speak out until he is clearly wounded and most for sure until after the Congressional elections next year.

My God, you are a sickly perverted and pathetic cowardly piece of shit. You haven't the balls to face me one on one and say your shit to my face because you're a yellow bellied coward through and through. Now go hide in a police station because you think I'm coming for you, you gutless cunt.

True, but how to prove you are a Euro-American male if a despot says you are not.
You can't. The secret police would simply disappear them. That's the pitfall MAGA morons can't see is coming.

Pastor Martin Niemöller said it best...after spending 7 years in a concentration camp for his Christian efforts: https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/cont...niemoeller-first-they-came-for-the-socialists
.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

NO, that is the point, let them have their hearing, and move on, if you are not illegal, then you will not get sent to El Salvador.
If they entered the country legally at a port of entry then they deserve a hearing from an immigration judge. If they waded across the Rio Grande or crossed the border illegally and ignored our laws then they abrogated their right to appeal to our legal system.

Arbie, why wouldn't I say anything to your face? I invited you to DFW a few times. All I wanted was witnesses to your assualt of an elderly man. Why did you refuse to come to Texas, son? Are you afraid you couldn't handle five years in a Texas prison for assaulting me?

Link to the legality of your claim, Ms. Fat Lame? As long as Due Process is applied, I'm fine with sending illegals back to where they came from.

Better, IMO, is for Congress to pass and Trump to sign an Immigration Bill that locks up business owners who hire, rent to or otherwise support illegal immigrants. This means beefing up both E-verify and enforcement. Additionally, work visas need to be revampe, again, with enforcement.

You are such a fucking liar, coward. You said you'd hide in a police station because you feared me. That is a fact you cannot run from. You are a sickly coward with a mouth you cannot back up.

MAGAS keep crying about this , I don't know of anybody that isn't okay with deporting ILLEGALS,
But when it comes to arresting and detaining Americans they have the right to due process.
Not a lawyer, but my understanding is that anyone on US soil falls under the Constitution, illegal or not. This is why GW put the terrorists at GITMO instead of bringing them to the US and why Obama didn't close GITMO as promised. If in the US, they'd be subject to US justice under the Constitution.

When it comes to national security—fighting wars and defending the nation—the courts have long deferred to the president and Congress. After 9/11, the Bush administration counted on judges staying out of the way as it figured out what to do with suspects rounded up in the War on Terror. The administration built a prison at the U.S. Navy base at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, because it was secure, but also because administration lawyers figured (and legal precedents suggested) that American courts had no power to meddle there....

...The potential for unfairness was so great that last week the Supreme Court stepped in and struck down the federal laws, ruling that terror detainees must be given full access to federal courts, under the ancient principle of habeas corpus, which roughly means that government cannot hold you without proving to the courts a legal basis for the detention.

In his 2008 run for the White House, Barack Obama promised to shut down the prison for suspected foreign terrorists opened by President George W. Bush at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

On his second full day in the White House, President Obama issued an executive order to close Guantanamo within a year.

Eight years later, that has not happened. Mr. Obama's ambition was largely thwarted by congressional restrictions, but also by the difficulty in reducing the 242 prisoners he inherited to zero. Today, 55 remain, including five accused of organizing the September 11th attacks on America....

...It became understood fairly soon into the administration that closing Guantanamo meant moving some of the detainees there to the United States, and that really turned the tide. As much as his opponent, John McCain, wanted it closed as well, there was an understanding, I think, that the original idea was not to bring detainees to the United States....
