liberals are funny

they make fun of fox for asking if the recovery goes to bush, YET, they have no problem blaming bush when the economy goes sour....and then all of a sudden the economy starts going up (a couple of months of job growth with the market going up, though down the last two days) and this magical point where bush was getting all the credit for the economy (bad)....now because the economy is (good), its not bush who is responsible....

hilarious...where is your magic marker line democrats?

lmao... somehow that is where I thought you were going with that, but since your panties are in such a bunch today I did not want to assume that.

word, I'm flying the chicken coup in 90 minutes I burn a J and get back to chillin like a villan. Though singles in 90 degree heat and 1,000% humidity is going to be not picnic

People blame Bush because he was President when the economy tanked, and had been President for a full 2 terms.

To suggest that the recovery we're experiencing now should be credited to Bush is the height of hackery.

wait a minute...bush was still being blamed for the economy (bad) as of this year...so...tell me onceler...when did the magic line get crossed where bush is no longer responsible for the economy? you seem to support the notion that bush can be responsible so long as the economy is bad, yet as soon as it starts to improve, bush is magically no longer responsible

how is that not hackery?

crediting Bush is very good Hackery, but saying Bush kept us safe or no terrorist attacked us under Bush like the delusional Cheney frequently says is by far the best Hackery.

why don't you man up and actually try to answer my question...where is the magic line?

I have always said that Obama owned the economy pretty much from the passage of the stimulus; lots of Bushies agreed with me, too (especially last year at this time).

Bush's policies, like it or not, played a part in the downfall of the economy in 2008; they weren't the full reason for the crash, but he cannot escape blame for it.

The only good thing Bush did was TARP, which I have commended him for & which helped. However, this is not his economy today, and will not be for the years ahead. To somehow label this a "Bush Recovery"...well, you have to have some pretty special blinders on for that.

i agree with your take for the most part....i just wonder for those people who still held bush responsible for the bad this year, where is their magic line?

i think bush is a minor part, the huge part was the housing bubble and ridiculous lending...i was wrong about TARP, it has appeared to work, and as such, bush should get some credit for the recovery....i don't credit the stimulus for much...i think the market and economy would have recovered without it and imho, been better off...i believe the debt worries in europe are going to come home to roost here...i hope not, but how can it not?

agreed, though I was pissed about tarp because I see it as subsidized Hamptons sailing yatch not economic salvation. A better stimulus would have been give every citizen a $20,000 voucher usefull for credit towards a house or car purchase.
