The latex contained in the poppy seed pod has the opiates in it. In the processing of the seed the latex can get on the seeds but it takes a lot of seeds to trigger a positive screen at the levels needed.

I would say that there would be no need to drug test anyone in this current administration, since they would
have had reason to test the people of the former administration when Hunter's bag of cocaine was found in
the White House, but of course they refused to drug test any of them.
