Foreign students usually pay full fair. That is a huge amount of money coming into the USA. They contribute to America's intellectual production, and the best stay in America as part of the brain drain. They learn to love American culture, and often consume American products even when(if) they go home. It is great for out economy.

If she is forced to go to University of Queensland, then he will no longer want US Dollars, but instead want Australian Dollars. Texting's dildo will cost even more accordingly.

It depends upon what you are buying. Yes, they do have some junky stuff so a bit of research is necessary. I compare an item to Amazon and Walmart. Often it's the exact same item with the exact same pictures. I read the reviews and, if it still looks good, I buy it.

In a scenario like that, all I'm doing is cutting out the middle-man and saving some money.

Indeed. Lots of temu stuff is fine and at 1/5 cost at walmart. For example temu bike mirror $1.20. Tire pump $1.50. Crank puller $3. I could go on and on. BTW - those are pre-tariff prices. Much higher now.

So tell it to your congressmen and President.
The debt goes up more when we have a Republican President then when we have a Dem President.
And The Republican Presidents tend to run us into recessions and we have to elect a Dem to get us out.
Republicans cried and cried when Obama spent us out of the deep recession Bush II got us into but didn't make a peep when Trump ran the debt up almost as much as Obama did and Trump did it in 4 years and it took Obama 8 years and Obama left Trump with a good economy .
Trump was left a good economy again and is already driving it into the ditch.
