I have been told that attacking first responders is a common problem with people on one of the current fav street drugs....I forget which one.

One has to figure that this is impacting how many people are willing to be paramedics, and on their morale.
 
Now I remember....I was recently told that Narcan not just destroys the high but also puts people into instant withdraw....often leaving the "victim" enormously hostile, sometimes to the point that they attack.

This is a huge problem for paramedics.
