Funny to find out @Cypress claims to have worked for a petroleum company but doesn't know what vitrinite reflectance or illite crystallinity is.

And he tried to throw in "thermal maturation". But he then realized HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW THAT IS DONE. Not enough time to Google a quick one-off.

So now it's time for EXCUSES.

Nope. I have the same name I started with. I was frankly surprised the people could do it like Dutch Uncle. He seems to change his name a lot.

I have no other names and no other accounts. None of these people Dutch and Cy talk about seem to even exist, so I'm not sure what is going on here.
 
So let me get this straight:

1. @Cypress claims to have worked in geology collecting rocks.
2. When asked about it it took 5 posts of insults before he came up with anything that looked like geology terminology
3. When asked a follow up question this was met with another 5 posts of insults before geologic terminology showed up. But it was brief.
4. A follow up question which was even deeper didn't even get a response other than insults.

And all of this is because @Cypress thinks I have a degree I never claimed to have.

I am curious why @Cypress takes SO LONG to respond (has to vamp with insult posts for a while until he can get his google machine fired up), and then has a laundry list of excuses as to why he won't discuss the topic technically.

For someone with even a modicum of education this is a pretty clear case of someone who is frantically googling to cover a lie.


I just needed the confirmation.



CODA: I think the best part of this is that it indicates Cy might actually believe I have some advanced degree that would make me VERY dangerous to his posturing. He doesn't need to worry. I have no such degree. I am, as they say, just well-read. And the fact that Cy can't engage with it means I'm more well read than he is. And Cy is slow on the googling.

Yes and his socks. He originally went by Perry but switch to other names such as Obtenebrator and Kafka. Daylight is a sock of the same person.

He has a weird obsession with @Cypress so it's pretty easy to follow both his posts and his personality regardless of what account or username he uses. Reading his posts over the past couple years indicates that he's at least in his 30s, if not 40s, but has the mind of a teenager. That could be caused by genetics, disease or injury. I'm guessing genetics.
