You didn't provide a link or article, so I have to ask. How is a few fuel oils, the only things you've mentioned, a bomb? You did say other explosives but did not mention them. For all I know they could be butane and kerosene, which would not be a bomb (unless rigged to explode). Careless yes, terrorism no.

It was rigged to explode. They are calling it an Act of Terrorism.

It was rigged in the belief that it would explode, but my understanding is that it was such an amateur hour attempt that to call it a "car bomb" is to suggest that your gas grill is an I.E.D.

Napolitano is calling it a car bomb. A vendor noticed smoke coming from the car and called the cops. The bomb squad quickly arrived. Fortunately, the vendor noticed it, otherwise many would have died.
 
So... Now that we know he was a Muslim from Pakistan who had recently become a naturalized citizen, is anybody wondering if the Tea Party Activists might hear an apology?
