Donald Trump is worse than every president in modern history in key area, new polling shows

Donald Trump’s recent net approval rating polling is historic and not in a good way.

Sure, Trump fans, the president is faring better there than he did at this point in his first term. But also, Trump fans, it is still the lowest net approval rating — besides his first term — of any president across the past 70-plus years.

And his net approval rating has taken a big hit from January when he was at +7 to now when he is at _-2.

“Look, in January of 2025, he was on the positive side of the ledger,” CNN data guru Harry Enten said during Friday’s segment. “He was at plus-7 points. Look now. He has come back down. He is underwater. He is doing a little bit of the breaststroke, maybe doing a little bit of the butterfly. He is at minus-2 points, and it’s not just in one poll. It’s in multiple polls — CNN, FOX, Ipsos, NBC and Quinnipiac University. Nein, nein, nein, the American Folks are saying, ‘oy vey … ay caramba!’”

Enten said it’s the lowest net approval rating since 1937.

“Trump in 2017 and Trump in 2025,” he said pointing out the low net approval rating. “He only matches himself. I guess the good news is he is doing a little bit better than he was eight years ago at this point, but when you are only matching yourself, and you are the only dude who is underwater at this point, not particularly good. Every single other president at this point in a term, either first or second, was above water.

‘So, Donald Trump likes to make history, but this is a type of history that Donald Trump does not like to make.”

Enten then showed polling on the issues that showed Trump was viewed favorably on immigration but negatively on the economy, the federal budget, foreign policy, health care and tariffs.

“Under water on all of these issues, and that is what is dragging Donald trump down,” he said. “People came in with good expectations for Trump, better than the first term. Yes, he is doing slightly better than he was during the first term but compared to everybody else he is doing far worse, and the reason he is doing far worse is Donald Trump is not meeting the voters’ expectations on the issues that matter to them, especially of course — the economy.”

LOL @ "new poll."

In the ratings by historians Trump is at or near the bottom, though he recently put himself ahead of George Washington, so I guess it’s hard to know, yes?
Historians? Did they opine this after working overtime at the history factory?

These people have never worked an honest day in their lives, therefore I don't respect their opinions. Which is all they have.
