I had no problem with that TEA Party guy standing there with a rifle. I did have a problem with the Black Panther guys standing in front of the voting booths with clubs though.

Wow, Yurt. Besides you, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone under the age of eighty-seven who pooped their diapers or felt “threatened” by the satanic rituals or bat-biting antics of Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne. To be sure, I’ve heard stories of some hand-wringing Christians who felt white metal bands were a menace to society. But, most of us normal, non-elderly whiteys just viewed it all as good fun, and recognized it as hilarious outlet for teen angst and a way to throw the middle finger up to society’s norms. So, I take it that your contention is that Iron Maiden and Guns and Roses were caricatured as thugs, criminals, and dangerous hooligans, to the exact same degree by society at large, as black rap dudes?

you're a dishonest hack...i never said i had a problem with it and never said anyone felt "threatened" by it

are you actually denying that white christians were never opposed to white heavy metal music? yes or no.

they were in fact looked on as negative as black rap dudes. you obviously lived under a rock in the 80's...and whats further interesting is that most rap in the mid 80's and even towards the later 80's before GANGSTA rap came on the scene, was viewed as 'cleaner' than heavy metal, acid metal etc....

rappers purposefully created the image of the gangsta, their videos were full of it....yeah cypress....they were really creating a 'wholesome' image....and what is further astounding is your complete lack of truthfulness regarding many black christians opposed to the violent and crude lyrics in some rap music....
