BTW, the actual attempt where the shooter was taken out involved a disgruntled REGISTERED REPUBLICAN, not a Democrat. The other was just some crazy guy squatting in the bushes who never aimed or fired a shot.

This lack of decor started back in 2009 when Congressman Wilson yelled out “you are a liar” in the middle of Obama’s first State of the Union Address. MTG and Boebert regularly heckled Biden in all of his Congressional speeches.

And Trump himself used the podium last night to taunt and personally insult Democrats, in fact Trump broke a precedent where no prior President addressing Congress personally cited by name a former President, they might reference the past Administration, but never singularly by name, Trump did it sixteen times last night, roughly ever five minutes

President trump was authentically President Trump..the Democrats were just pathetic ... And not very well rehearsed... and deserved anything that the President said to them or about them.... It's going to be a long time for them to recover from last night...

Rest of the Democrats did what the rest of the GOP has done during Biden and Obama speeches, the signs were new, and hardly outrageous, but the boos, sitting on hands, and walking out were nothing new.

And if you call employing that pulpit to personally single out and insult people plus set new precedents for degrading others just “Trump being authentic” you are missing the point
