President Donald Trump said Monday that tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada would go into effect tomorrow, ending a month-long delay that saw both U.S. neighbors scramble unsuccessfully to head off the punishing trade action and sending stock prices into a swift decline.

On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down around 1.5 percent. The broader S&P 500 index fell nearly 2 percent. Both market measures are now in the red since Trump’s election win.

So much winning. Can we go back to losing again?

Oh no. I hope Owlwoman is ok. She may have had her $13,000 from Friday wiped out. She didn’t tell us how much she lost yesterday

Yep, it's toast. Obviously it's also all on paper. I feel worse for the working folks who are watching their 401(k)s shrivel and die. We're good, thanks for caring.

What will you be buying?
Already have, whenever I see a sharp drop, especially when I know why it's happening, I throw down a few bucks to capitalize on the paranoia of the market. Thanks to the OP, I caught it just in time. I think I'll spend the loot on a 2nd hand Tesla, there's a lot of dumbass libtards getting rid of theirs for a song. LOL
