Yea, the country that can't pay their bills, is overrun with Muslim rape gangs, won't let you carry a pocketknife, and now is about to make it damn near impossible to visit as a tourist. In between, it is in major decline and is quickly having its military reduced to the point it couldn't put down a serious riot let alone fight a war...

The good news is that Western Europe and our other allies around the world will have to become militarily stronger as the United States withdraws it's 70+ year of protection.

The bad news is that as the US retreats from developing nations, Russia and China will fill the vacuum with an eye toward trade for resources.

Worse news, as the US retreats into isolationism under the label of "America First", a nuclear arms race could easily result among our former allies to defend themselves against Russian and Chinese aggression. The tech is there. It's simply a matter of implementing it.
