Some conservatives not welcome at Tea Party protests

Heere's what I got out of your link, Libbie:

So basically, we are racist if we are more critical of the black president than liberals were of Bush. Is that your position?
It would be difficult to get to that point, all those calls for his death, direct depictions of it, burning effigies, etc. I can't imagine how it could get to a point that was "more" critical than they were of Bush.

That's my point. Since that's not happening I'd like to see Libbie publish a list of forbidden terms for the black president. I know that I can call him that, since Libbie used the exact same term, and he, of course, is not racist in the least.

This was easy to find, as was this. I find the similarity to what this bozo Williams says and what you and other neocon/teabagger/birther/oather/etc. parrots have printed on these boards fascinating:

Here's what I got out of your link, Libbie:

COOPER: But, Roland, there are people who will say, well, look, in past years, and under President Bush, we saw people demonstrating, showing signs saying President Bush was a Nazi, saying he was a fascist. Why is this any different?

MARTIN: Because you also look at the level of criticism.

So basically, we are racist if we are more critical of the black president than liberals were of Bush. Is that your position?

And this is why I call Southie a willfully ignorant neocon....because he mentally shuts down the nano-second he reads something that he perceives justifies his beliefs. Then, with these half ass thoughts, his fingers hit the keys with all his mental diarrhea...substituting his supposition and conjecture and opinion as fact. Here was the COMPLETE response:

MARTIN: Because you also look at the level of criticism.

When you hear people say statements like, you know, I want to take my country back from this man, it's also how you're looking at it. When I look at Jimmy Carter, 85 years on this earth, he has seen things through his eyes as a white man from the South that, frankly, I cannot necessarily see.

He has a different point of view. The same thing, I may see something as a man and say, I don't see what the big deal is with that, but a woman may say, I have a different experience because I'm a woman.

COOPER: So, when you hear somebody -- Roland, when you hear somebody say, he is changing our country, I want to take my country back, you hear...

MARTIN: When I hear someone say, he's not one of us, when I hear them say, I want my country back from him, I'm saying, wait a minute. What do you mean from him? He's the president, elected by 50-plus-one percent of the country. We cannot deny those sole elements. Again, I think there is an effort to make him a delegitimate president. We cannot deny the subtle pieces there. And I think about John Murtha, when he was a congressman during the campaign when he spoke about the people from his district, the issue of race. People said, how dare he say that? He represented the district for 35 years.

For those who read the ENTIRE exchange, you see the same tired tactic of the intellectually bankrupt neocon....Williams consistently interrupting and interjecting slogans, mantras and rhetoric in an attempt to skew the conversation from what the other guest was discussing. Southie is not even as apt to this tactic as Williams...."out-of-context" quotes accompanied by his personal opinion is Southies version of the truth. :palm:

Bottom line folks: Southie asked for examples of racism from teabaggers....I gave him visual proof along with the mental machinations used to justify such bile. Notice how he wouldn't even acknowledge the visual proof, and how he tried to BS and distort the lame justifications by one of the neocon/teabagging pundits.

Keep it up, Southie....you make my point so much clearer.

If you could provide any proof of any liberal or progressive radio pundits that encouraged such behavior during the Shrub's 8 years, or any proof of any Democrat politician encouraging or placating such, you might have a point.

But you and I know that there was no such thing.

Yeah, calling Bush the Shrub or the Smirking Chimp or comparing him to Hitler in protest to the Patriot Act and invading Iraq and the one or two burning effigies did happen. But the FBI and Secret Service will tell you that the death threats against Obama is a record setter, the rise in "militias" is really up there. You've got politically supported and funded "tea parties" running all over the place, and NO ONE in the so called leadership is condemning all the racist BS as loudly as they are bleating the slogans and mantras.

When you can point to ONE incident when Dems, liberals or progressives grabbed their guns and showed up at a townhall meeting or organized rallies blathering all types of convoluted rhetoric and veiled threats, then you might have a point.

But you and I both know that you don't

i heard it on air america, more than once, it was all couched in a "joke" about killign bush, handing him over to the iraqis, killing him for treason....

what is all the "racist" stuff you're talking about? and there was just a thread about the tea party uninviting members etc....why is it you don't expect dems to speak out against every nutjob, but yet expect that of repubs?

Anything said not in full support of the black president is racist, apparently. Dissent is only patriotic when there is a white Republican in office.

Actually, you don't want to see....so you suddenly lose a portion of the cognitive reasoning skills that God gave you, and repeat yourself like a retarded parrot.

The exchange between Martin and Williams is just ONE example of the vile slander and justification of the hate mongering, rabble rousing invective of the neocon punditry....the video I gave is just ONE example of the racist, paranoid railings of the teabaggers at their various gatherings. that you ignore such is irrelevent.

See Southy, racism and bigotry wasn't an issue regarding the Shrub's administration...but it sure as hell is with a hefty faction of Obama's opponents. Note that I and others who voted for the man are critical of him WITHOUT the lies and idiocy that seem prevalent among the oathers/birthers/neocons/teabaggers and their much lauded punditry.

But if you still don't get it, see what I told Damo on the subject

Jeebus, never listened to Randi Rhodes, eh? And no, the FBI and the Secret Service are telling me no such thing. It wasn't an "occasional" burning effigy, and death threats written on signs were so prevalent it isn't difficult to find them online still.

And tell me, which "pundit" is calling for people to kill the current President?

Nevertheless, Libbie, that exchange was the example that you gave. It failed. Care to try another?

Are you saying that the video was faked?
Please explain what "failed" in the Martin & Williams exchange...because your attempt to give a false portrayal of what Martin was trying to explain "failed", as the chronology of the posts show.

Once again Southy, this is a disucussion based on facts and logic...NOT your personal opinion, suppostition and conjecture. If you can't LOGICALLY or FACTUALLYor HONESTLY prove your assertions, then don't waste time and space with your lame dodges, denials and distortions.

For all of Rhodes nasty little jibes and Bill Clinton bias (not Hillary, as all know), she Always had her information checks in a row and encouraged people to FACTUALLY prove her wrong. Rhodes was no angel, but you can't say she's the flip side of Beck or Levine or Hannity or Crowley, etc.

And by your statement, you should have no problem producing some various separate examples of the effigy burning over the 8 years (domestic only, please)...then compare the number to all the racist paranoia and threating guff that has appeared at various teabagger events and such in just one year since Obama's inaugeration.

As for the FBI and Secret Service, that news is old hat...you must have missed it. Here are a just two examples:

http://republicbroadcasting.org/?p=3791

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/w...ce_under_strain_as_leaders_face_more_threats/

And I said that neocon pundits encouraged the bad behavior....I didn't say they called for the President's murder. You need to either pat attention to what you read or stop revising what others write to suit your viewpoint. Take note of the following:

LOL Your the one making the "racist" accusation, so its your responsibility to logically, factually and honestly prove your assertions. You just gave your best shot using the transcript of the video and proved nothing.

Since you failed at that I then ax'd you for a published list of terms that we whiteys can use or cannot use and not be considered racist of the black president, and you failed to provide that. Then I went above and beyond and did the Affirmative Action thing and ax'd you if we are racist if we are more critical of the black president than liberals were of Bush; is that your position? and you failed to answer that as well.

The caption of the image: The picture on my phone was taken on Election Night- someone was burning Bush in effigy on Castro Street. Awesome.

I'll get to more later... I don't have time to sort through all the pictures to select just the right ones at this moment.

Presidents attract no end of kooks. I should just assume every "progressive" is a violent death-monger who promotes violence like Randi Rhodes, according to you that's the way it works. Yeah, superfantastic.

The reality is, it would definitely be difficult to get to the level of caustic hatred that was spewed during protests against Bush domestically. Until we reach that level your hypocrisy knows no bounds. Cheering on the closing of the park in front of the WH to squelch protests, nodding away at the extension and strengthening of warrantless wiretapping, saying "Yeeehaaah" and "Oh, yeah!" to Biden suggesting exactly the same thing as Cheney when leaders of Al Qaeda are killed in Iraq...

Then with a smirk you post that it is some how more acerbic when it comes from people you disagree with rather than those who you cheer.

It's gross hypocrisy at a level that reaches epic proportions. It's cool. I hope you focus on this, because it means you are still not getting it.

I've started pringing the bumperstickers already...

It's the Spending, Stupid!

After all, you wouldn't take my word for anything, why should we take yours?

If you really want to listen to it find some air america archives of the Randi Rhodes show. She did a skit about Bush dying and then made a comment about his brother and dad needing to take him out fishing or something and shooting him.

I have no idea how to go into their archives to find those clips nor does my lazy ass really care to try. It's there though if you are interested.

i heard that as well....i believe she had 'skits' like that more than once, or else they played that skit as reruns

i don't believe the audio is available online anymore as the show is canceled, i've looked, and i'm not lying....i think you knwo she did the skit, you're just being a partisan twit

So you don't have any audio then...that's what I thought.

You all expect it from me, but don't want to do any digging yourselves.
