Now, you can argue there hasn't been any backlash over Palin, but tell me... how unlikely is it, the losing VP candidate of the man who is fighting to hold his Senate seat, is the current front-runner for the right? First, that was not a lie; you most certainly DID promise backlash for Bolton, as well as all of the talk in Congress surrounding his nomination. How can you so blatantly lie like that? There are plenty of witnesses on this board. I don't really have to dispute that. Part of the living you make on this board & that you did on FP was promising "backlash" that never transpired.

Second, you're pathetic. You realize that you can't tie me to the lie you were REALLY talking about - you know, all that "sliming" of the Tea Party, for "tying" them to McVeigh, and all the "back-slapping" I did with Jarod on this thread for his OP. All of that, remember, Dix?

I most certainly didn't promise backlash over Bolton, or you would be re-posting it here for all to see! I fully expected the Democrat congress to replace Bolton as soon as they had the chance, and they did. And for the record, I don't "make a living" on this board... I FUCKING WISH!
 
Aren't the teabagger rallies today meant to commemorate the OK City bombing? Why else would the teabaggers hold their rallies today? You can talk till your face turns blue but there is a connection. Hitler's birthday is tomorrow and that plays a part to many of the more radical teabaggers. If you don't want to be considered insane terrorists don't act like them.

Now, I'll wade in on the Waco thing. A terrible tragedy it was. How necessary all the force was I am not knowing. All I can go by is what the news reports and discussions I've had with the few relatives of mine that live in the area down there. Based solely on the evidence I have been privy to it appears to me the government was justified in going in. The question is were they justified in using the amount of force and causing the loss of human life that they did? I honestly cannot answer that as I wasn't there. I don't think anyone who wasn't there can.

But I will say this, if kooks like McVeigh used Waco (or Ruby Ridge or whatever) as a motivating factor in doing what he did then they are just plain nuts. Are there nuts in the world? You bet there are. McVeigh was one of them. There are probably more like him out there but I can see nothing that connects the sort to the Tea Party movement, no matter how much as Olberman's and Maddow's want to make that connection. Talk about using fear to get a message across.

I can't see how, they had myriad chances to arrest the man they wanted without any violence whatsoever. He jogged by them daily, alone, unarmed.
