Thin-skinned POTUS who couldn't handle criticism

General Stanley McChrystal was relieved of his command by President Obama in June 2010.

The issue stemmed from a Rolling Stone article titled "The Runaway General," where McChrystal and his staff were quoted making a series of comments about multiple senior officials in the Obama administration, including Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time.

McChrystal himself didn’t directly joke about Joe Biden, but one of his aides was quoted mocking Biden’s name in a derogatory way during a discussion about a potential meeting.

McChrystal’s team trashed other figures like National Security Adviser James Jones (called a "clown") and diplomat Richard Holbrooke ("a wounded animal").

McChrystal also expressed frustration with Obama, saying he felt "betrayed" and uncomfortable during their interactions.
