Details: Graham stated that Ukraine's accession to NATO does not seem to be a realistic option – glossing over the fact that the United States opposes the accession, he only added that there are those in NATO who do not want to see Ukraine there. However, in searching for a scheme to guarantee Ukraine's security, the senator considers it inappropriate to reject the NATO lever.

Quote: "I've got an idea, comes from The Art of the Deal [Trump’s book – ed.]. If we can't agree they should be in NATO like right now, can we agree that if there's ever another Invasion, the moment they invade, they go into NATO? Let Putin put him in NATO if he wants to."

Details: In response to a question from the audience, he added that he was aware that such a scenario would lead to military action.

Quote: "I think we let Putin know that if he ever does this again, they're [Ukraine – ed.] going into NATO really quick. And if he invades again, they go into NATO that means we all fight [to defend Ukraine]."

Kinda makes sense to me.
 
NATO under American domination demanded war and then got humiliated.....that does not tend to end well.

What becomes of the ruins of Chernobyl?


This is the single largest problem to forming a Cease-Fire and eventual Peace in Ukraine.


I think it will need to be a charge in the borders of Russian Satellite State of Belarus, making a 60 miles southward carve out, to wrap over the ruins, making it possible for Russia to monitor the site.


Chernobyl was the primary cause of Putin deciding to stop just making threats, and minor retaliatory actions in the Donbass to the West-Ukrainian shelling, and actually invade Ukraine.


Two foolish Zelensky authorities made a threat to Putin, that if he didn't surrender the Donbass, they would dig out radioactive waste from Chernobyl, and send it on extended range missiles, to Moscow.


The very first place that Russia secured, in the invasion, was the ruins of Chernobyl.


And then we have the recent false-flag drone attack on the concrete sarcophagus over the most toxic of the site's wastes.


For anything to move forward, there must be a means to deal with the hazard to Russia of Chernobyl.

This all makes me think that Ukraine giving Russia Ukraine's nuclear weapons, for an absolute guarantee on their borders was a mistake.

Maybe it is time for Ukraine to build a small nuclear force. With the failure trump in office, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan are almost certainly building nuclear weapons. Germany is still deciding whether to build nuclear weapons. It seems clear that Ukraine should build a few nuclear weapons.

Giving Putin 60 miles incursion towards Kyiv that he could not take in war is also a non starter. Putin tried to take Kyiv at the beginning of the war, and was beaten back. If he wanted the 60 mile incursion so badly, he should have fought better.

The first place they tried to secure was the airport next to Kyiv. Then they sent troops through Chernobyl to try to reinforce the airport. It was all to take Kyiv. They failed.

what business is it of ours who does or doesn't have a nuclear weapon when we ourselves have them? They are considered the ultimate deterrent of war and yet we are so arrogant as a country that we believe we are the arbiter of who and who should possess them. It is no different than saying who and who shouldn't have an air craft carrier.

It is this type of thinking that has thrust the United States into untold, unnecessary wars expending trillions of our treasure and countless dead Americans.

It is time to stop the madness and stop being the world's policeman. I don't give two shits about the Middle East or Ukraine or Russia or N. Korea or Iran.
