Hispanic friend of mine just got pulled over. . .

No, but he will sell him a new warranty for his truck.

No, Brad still ekes out a bare living by processing routine personal injury cases. He doesn't get as many clients as he used to since the immigrants he was swindling are a close-knit community, though.

Between that and the divorce decree, it's easy to see why he has time and to spare to make up tales on this forum.

Well he is a friend after all... Good thing the guy got stopped right in front of the office... Right when Jarod was outside to observe everything...whew....
I don’t believe it either.

His proclivity for lying is known by most of us.

An Hispanic friend of mine, here legally with a work permit, just got pulled over in front of my office.
Right in front of your office, how convienent.
I spoke with the officer who could not articulate a reason for the stop. They told me he was in a truck, (regular truck, nothing to indicate it is a work truck) and they wanted to see if he had a work permit.

Bullshit. you randomly walk up to an officer during a traffic stop and will be told to take a seat. Failing that, you will be cuffed for obstructing justice.
The officers were rude and defensive. I sat and watched, they let him go.
So they did tell you to sit down or you will go to jail.
This will not be tolerated, I already called the chief of police and two city counsel members.

Pretextual stope are illegal.
Correct and the cops know that so they avoid them if possible.
(Side note, that is where the vast majority of illegal guns and drugs are found.)
While I have no evidence,
That says a lot about the stop and your personal feelings.
I feel its very likely they pulled him because he has an Hispanic name after they ran his DL.
You are a third party that does not know about the reason for the stop. Your feelings are irrelevant.
He was about a half a mile from a license plate reader that I know about.
License plate readers are all over the State and they give cops alerts as to who/what vehicle can be a problem. The readers pass information to the locals as the vehicle travels from city to city.
This type of violation of people's Constitutional Rights should not be tolerated in our Country.
What type of violations are you talking about? You already admitted you do not know the context of the stop.

So? This isn't unusual. When my son graduated high school I bought him a new Mustang GT that had an appearance kit on it. It looked very aggressive . He got stopped 3 times in 4 months with zero reasons for why he got stopped and zero tickets were issued. So calm down Jarod. It happens to white boys too.

Yep they do not take kindly to other people trying to interfere with a stop. And the law is on their side.

Well, Brad is personally known to the patrol officers. He's had to appeal to them for protection on several occasions after his former clients discovered how much he'd deducted from their settlements in contingency fees and (padded) expenses. :nodyes:

But that doesn't mean they would be prepared to tolerate his interference - had it actually occurred. They know he despises cops.

The simplest explanation is that he made the whole story up because he has no business to attend to.
