Really? You wrote it? You decide it?

we're back in to that reading comprehension thing again, aren't we?

lets go back to the post by Desh (evince) that said the supreme court is the final arbitor of the constitution and I don't get to decide.

I said wrong, 'we the people' wrote it and 'we the people' decide. This means that the courts are NOT the final say on the constitution, 'we the people' are, because the constitution was written by 'we the people' and only 'we the people' can change it.

I'd ask if that's clear enough for you, but somehow I feel that you're not gonna understand it.

Your feelings are correct. "We" includes "you", doesn't it? And "we" includes "I", but I certainly didn't write the Constitution.

and I never said that 'I' wrote the constitution either. But 'We' did, as a people. The constitution is ours, not the governments.

apparently the troll legion doesn't believe the constitution belongs to the people....he believes the constitution and its liberties belong to the government only

The YurTroll must've been channelling dead moms again.

He's certainly attempting to hijack the thread, which is what trolls do.

So the field of constitutional law is not needed? All anyone has to do is ask you to explain the law to them?

all anyone needs to do is accept that the constitution is easy to read and understand.....then actually read the document. All too often, people are led to believe that the constitution is this extremely vague, oddly worded, terribly complicated piece of paper that requires lawyers and judges hours to research, study, and analyze a simple paragraph to come up with some explanation of what it means, so they just decide to let the 'gov' work it out for them.

stop being a sheep. accept that the constitution is simply worded plain text. that it means what it says.

I guess law schools that require years of study are just frauds, then?

law schools were originally set up to ensure that lawyers knew how to argue in court, procedures, filings, precedents, etc. Again, stop being a sheep thinking that you need years of law school to understand simple plain text.

My, you're jumping to a conclusion.

Did I say law school was required to understand simple plain text?

When?

And while you're displaying your vast store of wisdom, can you cite a source for your explanation of the origin of legal education?

translation:

damn, yurt got me good and know that if i answer this question i will look like an idiot for making my previous posts about lawschool

nice fail legion troll :good4u:

Keep congratulating yourself, YurTroll. You must crave the attention, and if that's the only way you can get it, who am I to stand in your way?
