Mitt will not beat Obama, you cant out Liberal a Liberal.
His nomination will supress the excitment of the Christian Right, and will throw a wet blanket on the Pro-lifers and the anti-Healthcare folks, But it looks today like Mitt is the best they got!
If unemployment improves much, Obama could put spinning rims on the Presidents limo and still win.![]()
I think he stands a chance. The Republican party could go a long way towards distancing themselves from the extreme right by nominating Romny.I think Mitt could come closer than the fossil. No chance in hell he wins.

...and Santa Clause will stop by all good childrens homes and the Easter bunny will stand up and cheer and you and I will both win the lottery and donate the winnings for world peace.any moderate selected by the GOP will fail, and then the party will. The fiscally conservative americans will form a 3rd party after that with largely libertarian ideas.
or do you mean the 58% of those who are uninformed and dont' understand that it's the current system that is way to expensive that we can't afford?when you say 'extreme right', are you referring to the 58% that want health care reform repealed because its too expensive?

and what does this new legislation actually do to control costs?
They are if they aint paying attention to the facts son. We're paying close to 17% of GDP per year on health care in this nation. That's about 2.5 trillion dollars per year in the present system. Health care reform is costing initially 100 billion/year. If it cuts the percentage of GDP spending to around 8% like most of the develope world with similiar programs are doing that would save us 1.25 trillion dollars per year. 5 years of that would pay off half of our national debt. In other words, the 9 years cost would be paid for in less than one year. in 10 years it would more than pay off our national debt.yeah, that HAS to be it, because anyone that can't see things as clear as you do must be stupid and uninformed.![]()

The real fact that these people don't understand it that we cannot afford our current system. It is bankrupting our nation at a far faster rate then the governments, mostly republican, debt spending is.
