Lies die hard for anti-Obama folks

Conservative media figures and outlets have falsely claimed a New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) survey found that 46 percent of primary care physicians would consider leaving their profession if Democrats' health care reform bill passes. In fact, NEJM says that the 3-month-old email "survey" was not published in or conducted by NEJM.

In conclusion, in case your wondering....

1....The Medicus Firm - conducted the survey in December 2009.

2....They issued a press release on December 17, 2009.The survey found that 46 percent of primary care physicians would consider leaving their profession if Democrats' health care reform bill passes.

3....The report written by the Medicus Firm subsequently appeared in Recruiting Physicians Today, a newsletter produced by Massachusetts Medical Society, who publish the New England Journal of Medicine."

4....The report also appeared on the NEJM "CareerCenter" website, removed on 3/17/2010

http://politifi.com/news/The-Medicu...-want-to-quit-if-Obamacare-passes-420224.html

And in the end...who the fuck cares, the survey was taken, the results are the same and it was on the NE Journal of Medicine's webpage and in a newsletter produced by their publishers....

Some minor inaccuracies ? Yeah...so what....much ado about nothing, brought to you by Mr. Peckerhead

The Medicus Firm - a medical recruiting firm -- conducted the survey in December 2009. The Medicus Firm, a Dallas- and Atlanta-based firm that recruits and places physicians in jobs, was responsible for conducting the survey. It issued a press release about the results on December 17, 2009. A report written by the Medicus Firm subsequently appeared in Recruiting Physicians Today, an employment newsletter produced by Massachusetts Medical Society, "the publishers of the New England Journal of Medicine." The report also appeared on the NEJM "CareerCenter" website, but was taken down on March 17.

Methodology consisted of emailing doctors in the Medicus Firm's database. The NEJM CareerCenter article indicated that "[t]he survey sample was randomly selected from a physician database of thousands. The database has been built over the past eight years by The Medicus Firm (formerly Medicus Partners and The MD Firm) from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, public directories, purchased lists, practice inquiries, training programs, and direct mail responses. The survey was conducted via emails sent directly to physicians."

Survey write-up was essentially a promotional document for the firm. After discussing the results of its survey, Medicus touted the importance of physician recruitment firms "[a]fter health reform is passed and implemented":

What does this mean for physician recruiting? It's difficult to predict with absolute certainty, but one consequence is inevitable. After health reform is passed and implemented, physicians will be more in demand than ever before. Shortages could be exacerbated further beyond the predictions of industry analysts. Therefore, the strongest physician recruiters and firms will be in demand. Additionally, hospitals and practices may be forced to rely on unprecedented recruitment methods to attract and retain physicians. "Health reform, even if it's passed in a most diluted form, could be a game-changer for physician recruitment," said Bob Collins, managing partner of The Medicus Firm in Texas. "As competitive as the market is now, we may not even be able to comprehend how challenging it will become after health reform takes effect."

In the end, my intellectually impotent neocon suck up, all you've done is try to excuse the FACT that the Washington Times, a neocon rag run by the right wing POS Rev. Moon KNOWINGLY PRINTED A FALSE STATEMENT.

In the end, you willfully ignorant neocon parrot, you try to ignore the FACT that RECENTLY conservative radio pundits and their guests REPEATED THE SAME LIES AS IF THEY WERE TRUE.

In the end, for all your pitiful bravado you don't have the stones to just acknowledge a simple matter of fact and history...and like the neocon punditry and leadership you swear you don't follow, you try to BS and excuse this. But like I've tried to school you many times before, the COMPLETE facts (like the chronology of the posts) will always be your undoing.

Now, repeat all the same blathering nonsense we've just seen.....just makes you all the more pathetic.

And in the grand scheme of things,

NO BODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT SOME UNKNOWN RADIO HOST or what he might say....

TC will declare grass really is green like he said all along, even though no one ever mentioned grass or the color green, and point out you're a willfully ignorant neocon clown and you need to read his links to far left "links for assholes" websites to get educated... AND don't forget, "reviewing the chronology of the posts" is also very important......its kinda standard procedure for ..."The Peckerhead"

PS...you can have the last word, Mr. P....

And there you have it folks.....a perfect example of the neocon/teabagger/birther mentality.......Any fact that disproves their beliefs and propaganda is renedered unimportant an to be ignored.

In his zeal to so so, our intellectually impotent Bravo makes some glaring foolish statements.

1) he declares that the conservative radio hosts of WABC Talk Radio are "unimportant". So either Bravo has been living in a cave for the last 20 years or he's just being a stubborn jackass...because any American who has picked up a newspaper knows how important jokers like Hannity, Crowley, Levin, Limbaugh, Beck and Drudge are to the neocon driven GOP noise machine.

2) Bravo REFUSES to acknowledge the FACT that the forementioned has steadfastly repeated a LIE.

3) Like all willfully ignorant neocon parrots, Bravo tries to EXCUSE the lie by selective review of the facts....but when confronted with ALL the facts, he just becomes like a ventriloquists dummy without it's handler.

4) For someone who "doesn't give a shit", about lies being told to the public, Bravo invests a LOT of time and effort to rehash videos used by neocon bloggers during the 2008 campaign and in 2009 against Obama (all that have been either dismissed, disproved, acknowledged or resolved). The sheer hypocrisy and double standard of his stance, however, seems to be lost on him.

In short folks, Bravo is a prime example of the teabagging fools that drool like Pavlovian dogs at every cliche ridden speech of Sarah Palin....who defend/excuse any form of racism, any lie or distortion told in the media so long as it's anti-Obama. And when confronted with facts and logic that contradict their mantras and beliefs, they respond in the pathetic way you see here.

Pity poor Bravo....his lack of imagination results in his parroting one of my end lines....but the fool should know how to use it...like when you logically disprove someone wrong. :palm: "Bravo" indeed.

Only Neocons like Taicheeze actually believe that talk radio hosts are significant.

You can whine all you want, but "neocon" stands for "new conservative"...the ideology found in the PNAC agenda and the writings of staunch supporters of the Shrub's administrative actions.

Any fool who reads these boards knows that I in no way fit those definitions/parameters. So essentially you're just spewing sour grapes.

Oh, and for your information: Limbaugh was given the Republican Congressional Medal of Distinction (the highest civilian honor that body can give). So it's not me who is giving these bullhorns status.

Yet you say others fit that do not based on this limited definition few would actually fit in that description. Interesting. Hypocrisy much?

:palm: When people support, parrot and mimic the same BS that Limbaugh and various GOP officials spew that has been PROVEN to be distortions, exaggerations, lies and half-truths, they get the same label. That they defend each other is of little consequence or worth.

Bottom line: if you're going to back up your buddy here, then all you have to do is provide proof where I've backed up neocon propaganda. If you can't, then you're just blowing smoke. My opening post on this thread stands valid....and THAT is what's driving the neocons to distraction.

Oh well, good luck with that. :palm:

Just in case the lefties missed this very informative post....

As you can see folks, all our intellectually impotent neocon Bravado has to offer is a parroting of a failed assertions, long ago disproved or settled talking points.......all the while pretending that FACTS that contradict his erroneous conclusions and assertions were not presented or just don't exist. So either Bravo doesn't read, doesn't comprehend what he reads, or is just insipidly stubborn.

Whatever....I leave the little dope to stamp his feet in frustration. :cof1:
