Following swift backlash from legislators, retired military personnel, and others, the U.S. Air Force confirmed to USA TODAY Monday it will resume teaching its recruits about the first Black airmen in the nation’s military.

The move comes on the heels of the Air Force confirming Saturday that course instruction about the Tuskegee Airmen − the more than 15,000 Black pilots, mechanics and cooks in the segregated Army of World War II − had been pulled from basic training curriculum.

One of my professors in college was a veteran of the Tuskegee airmen. He told me the reason the Tuskegee airmen were so successful as bomber escorts is because they had been highly trained, and generally exceeded German pilots in skill.

Air Force restores use of Tuskegee Airmen training videos as Hegseth starts first day – WSOC TV https://search.app/hAxRk4jDvyNLS1Ns7 Everything is fine.... We had one of the Tuskegee airmen visit our high school for an assembly that was one of the finest and most inspirational ones that we ever had... They are
Definitely an important part of history..
So, did you think it should be removed or were you happy it was restored?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching about the Tuskegee airmen. The problem comes in when we put a lesser qualified pilot in a multi million dollar jet over a more qualified pilot for the sake of DEI. Just like we would not want a more qualified Black pilot replaced with a lesser talented and lesser qualified white pilot . Trump is for equal opportunity and merit based outcome.

DEI is not about putting less qualified in and you know it.
