Yes. And it’s a good thing that rainbow flags offend some people.
There’s no room for any other flag be flown on u.s. government buildings than American flags.
If that’s offensive to some, too bad. But on u.s. government buildings, appropriate.

The US Department of State has banned consular posts from flying any flags other than that of the US as part of the Trump administration’s pledge to crack down on diversity efforts in government institutions.

I'm not going to pick this hill as the one I want the one I want to die on in defense of a principle.

The silver lining is all Trump actually seems capable of doing is getting his name in the headlines by issuing executive orders which can easily be overturned on a whim by future presidents. What Trump was never capable of doing was passing a legislative agenda that has lasting legal impact and legacy implications.
