Trump's tough stance forced Hamas's hand, ensuring two Americans come home in less than 24 hours. If Harris had won, these hostages would've been left to die. Trump's clear message to Hamas was "release them or face the full might of the US military," leading to a deal that had been stalled for months under Biden's weak leadership. Israel chose to accept this deal, not us, and Trump managed this without paying Hamas off with billions like someone I know. We'll see tomorrow if his strength was the key. You definitely don't want to start comparing hostage negotiations. Obama and Biden handed Iran $6 billion in deals that might as well have been cash for bombs and missiles, plus other benefits from asset releases and sanction relief. There were countless examples of lopsided trades and direct cash payments under Obama, so bad that his own administration had to do an internal policy review because their approach seemed to be incentivizing global hostage-taking. Trump, however, never shelled out a single dollar, making sure any exchanges were to America's advantage. That Afghan-Taliban prisoner swap? No American money or prisoners were involved; it was just Trump's team masterfully brokering a deal where the U.S. gave up nothing.

Really, they were fighting for 80,000 of them to die? You need to read and educate yourself. Trump didn't give them shit. The Trump team was a mediator. We didn't give up any American held prisoners or financial assets. How is that difficult to understand. It's very simple. Check out how every single deal that Obama and or Biden made always gave prisoners we were holding, and/or financial assets for hostages. Just for clarity the Taliban deal had nothing to do with or cost America anything except gas money to go back and forth.
