But your point is still spot on. Christianity definitely has as good a lock on unhinged theocratic excess as any other religion on earth. And the body count to match.

All human endeavors are thus tainted. This is how you can tell religion is just another human-made thing.

Obviously, any kind of torture is inhumane, but the Spanish inquisition actually only killed a few thousand people and happened 700 years ago, so I'm not really worried about it.
