Serious question. Why should we care about what Musk says? If he were running for an office it would be worthwhile to listen to what he says. But he's just a rich guy who bought access to the president-elect. DOGE is just a proposed advisory commission that's not official. So it looks like Musk's purpose will be to sway trump to his way of thinking. Yet we all know trump won't be persuaded to do anything he doesn't want to do in the first place.

I give Musk six months before he gets bored with being subject to trump's whims, and goes back to where he can focus on being in charge again.
