South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday declared martial law in a surprise late-night TV address, slamming domestic political opponents and sending shockwaves through the country.
Yoon said opposition parties had taken the parliamentary process hostage. He vowed to eradicate "shameless pro-North Korean anti-state forces" and said he had no choice but to take the measure to safeguard constitutional order.

It's become common for the results of democratic elections to be challenged/overturned. Candidates are frequently bought, entire elections are for sale. Corruption has become legal. The result is that governments are no longer respected and the ' law of force ' is applied to unruly populations .
The US openly interferes in foreign elections like it has a right to. Musk is currently dangling a hundred million dollars in front of the UK extremist right-wingers. Georgia looks set to follow Ukraine into US-prompted civil war. The age of ' democracy ' is drawing to a close, I'm afraid.

The lie that the opposition is controlled by North Korea sounds a lot like the lie that North Koreans are fighting in Kursk....and likely has the same source.
