Things I find very ironic....

Okay... The same exact people who were once hanging out in hippie vans smoking dope and talking about how things would be if they were in charge, bitching about "the establishment" and "the man" and how the "pigs" just liked to hassle people, and...and... authority should like, be a universal concept man... Peace, Love, Power to the People! ...These very same cats are now in power, and everything is about "The Man"(Government) having its finger in every aspect of your life! Telling you what to buy, where to go to the doctor, what to eat, how much of your money to pay in tax... signs signs, everywhere a sign... Isn't it ironic?

The very same people who, since Roe v. Wade, have been lecturing us about how abortion should be a private matter between a woman and her doctor, and government has no place in that choice.... NOW are saying, to ALL of us, hey... it's perfectly FINE to have the government all up in your examining room with you and the doc! Hundreds of new government agencies are going to be created to 'administer' Obamacare... or should I say, 'inflict' Obamacare upon the nation. Literally thousands of little busybody government workers who have nothing better to do than make your routine life a living hell. It should be real fun trying to see a doctor now! Oh well, maybe that will cut down on the number of abortions, huh? Yes Ms. Pinhead, we can schedule your abortion in 13 months, but we need your co-pay in advance.

The same clowns who rolled in the floor writhing in agony over Bush 'trampling' the Constitution by allowing the government to listen in on phone lines, are all of a sudden, giddy and dancing in the streets over allowing government to know every intimate detail of your rectal colon exam, and not only that, but trust them implicitly with your health care needs! Same people... same government!

I swear, you couldn't make something this goofy up! My theory is, it must have had something to do with the LSD!

Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
the pains that are withheld for me
I realize and I can see...

[chorus]:

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

I try to find a way to make
all our little joys relate
without that ever-present hate
but now I know that it's too late, and...

[Chorus]

The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card I'll someday lay
so this is all I have to say.

[Chorus]

The only way to win is cheat
And lay it down before I'm beat
and to another give my seat
for that's the only painless feat.

[Chorus]

MASH
The sword of time will pierce our skins
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger...watch it grin, but...

[Chorus]

A brave man once requested me
to answer questions that are key
'is it to be or not to be'
and I replied 'oh why ask me?'

'Cause suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.
...and you can do the same thing if you choose.

No Dix it has everything to do with their true agenda: communism.

And we tried so hard to keep it hidden, comrade. :cof1:

Poll: N.C. residents still want health-care reform

North Carolinians' support of health-care reform hasn't wavered in the past five months as the majority of residents continue to back changes to the system, according to a poll released Friday.

The results of the Elon Poll conducted by Elon University were released before a vote of the U.S. House on health-care reform. That vote is expected on Sunday.

The poll taken this week shows that 78 percent of respondents believe that the health-care system needs reform, mirroring results of the October poll, when 76.6 percent said that reform is necessary.

I am in favor of reform too, reform is a broad word and to most it meant changes in regulations, NOT a giant new entitlement program, forcing people to buy insurance and social welfare with more spending and more debt.
