Duh. I was explaining why I wouldn't be upset if I was wrong, not denying what I said. My guess is still that it came from the gallery, the gavel is used regardless of where it came from. But if it came from an R on the floor it won't "destroy" me or something.

MAYBE those EEEEEEEVIL Democrats snuck an EXACT COPY of Republican Senator into the house so he could then stand up and yell some ridiculous invective and further discredit the Republicans!!

When I "guess," I usually preface with something like "I'm guessing it came from the gallery," or, "I'm betting it came from the gallery."

I don't state "It was shouted from the gallery," as though it is fact.
