Come on folks, yelling "nigger" at a US Congressman and a man who worked so hard for the Civil Rights movement and was almost beaten to death in Alabama.

I understand the emotion, and agree with many of the stated goals of the Tea Party. But if they don't come down hard against this sort of redneck ignorance, they are going to lose big.

And yelling "faggot" at Barny Frank? Pretty low, in my opinion.
 
First they have Roy Moore as a featured speaker and now they shout "nigger" at a sitting congressman?

Is this what is being claimed is representing the people of the United States?

One congressman was spit on by a teabagger. The republicans giving the speach are responsible. The congressman won't press charges, I'd have beat the teabaggers ass to within minutes of his NASCAR loving life.

oh....well, if he votes against them solely for that, then he is a weak congressman that has no scruples. casting a vote that effects an entire nation should not come down to....oh, this party or group called me a nane

and judging from rep. lewis' remarks about it, i don't think the word is going to cause him even to pause in what he is doing...

They called him what they did because he was voting against them. This just cements the decision he previously made. Had he any waver in him, there is now none.

then he doesn't have the best interest of the country in mind. if you're going to vote because someone called you a name....you shouldn't be in office.

but i don't think he considers this as reason to vote or not. he is above that, like he said, been dealing with that since the 60's....he is not where he is now because he let petty shit like that bother him.

Again. He had already made a decision, the type of idiocy displayed by the bigots simply makes it so that he can see no other opinion without the taint of their stupidity. There is no reason or merit to it, that anybody might give them some defense is repugnant.

The only way to ensure that nobody can hear the majority is to allow these people to speak for them.
