It would be nice to think that maybe in light of what has become obvious....

....that maybe the envy of the left being experienced by members of the right, has caused a good portion of them to hold up a mirror and take a hard look at themselves. Engage in some self examination and come to a realization as to what kind of people they are.

Begin to develop a desire to change and become BETTER people.

Actually we just showed the school yard bully that we aren't like them. Which to US means we are able to see the value of not tearing everything down we have. They, on the other hand, see it as weakness.

This is kind of off topic but some complain about low information voters. People usually do that when others don't vote the way they want them too. But for months we hear "VOTE"; we hear it in commercials, the NFL paints in their end zone, influencers tell us too, friends on social media etc. We hear "make sure you register and vote".

But when you get people who may be new to voting or are infrequent voters there's a decent chance they are 'low information voters'. I mean let's be honest, do we think they really study who is running for the Education Board in our cities?

We can tell people to 'educate themselves' I suppose but that's taking a leap of faith. Is it just something we have to accept as a democracy?
