He's going to send quite a few in Democrat leadership positions off to the slammer,....oh,...about a year from now or so. So yeah,....he IS the perfect guy for the job.
That would require an equal corruption of the courts, a higher hill to climb.

I don't think he has been convicted, Earl. We are being asked to assume his sordid background from reports such as those the Republican Speaker of the House is hiding from the public. Presumably Trump is satisfied the guy is sufficiently immoral to serve in his cabinet.

The House investigation was not dropped and seems to have produced findings the Republican majority leader deems too embarrassing to share with the public. But you're missing the point (as always). Trump doesn't need law abiders, people who might one day blow the whistle on him. He needs sleaze bags like himself for his idea of a smooth running administration, and he knows it. Gaetz fills the bill.
