Dennis Kucinich is on board!

HCR is at 70% on intrade right now. Those odds are actually even longer than they seem. No senator who had a 70% on intrade lost in the 2008 election, no state that was ranked 70% on intrade for either candidate went to the other.

intrade is a great predictor.... people usually put there money where they belive the truth to be.

So he's rich and married a gold-digger half his age.

I think he bares a striking resemblance to Henry Gibson...

Don't you agree? :readit:

And what will you do after it passes and you're proven to be so terribly wrong?

What are you smoking over there Hoopy? Damo hasn't said anything about believing it would pass. He's been very clear that he just doesn't support this bill in it's present state, but will support going back to the table and hammering out a bill that appeals and wins the approval of the MAJORITY OF American people, which it IS NOT doing now.

You guys want a win so bad for Obama it's got your shorts in a complete twist.

Obviously you haven't seen Southern Man's wife. Now, she is hot.

Hey now...you ain't one of them queers, now are ya?

Cuz that SouthernMan, he don't go fer no queers, and you talkin about how purty his woman is sounds like you want to "get friendly" with his woman.

Well the fact that the looney left dislikes this as much as the wako right means it's probably good legislation.

It's really just a precedence setter. This isn't true reform. It's only the beginning of reform.

BINGO...THAT is what I've been saying.

It isn't pretty...it isn't perfect...but it IS a jumping off point.

Why? There's always the future where we can make a bill that actually will be good for America rather than settling for poop sandwiches. Several of them in fact.

how can it pass when the reps have made it clear that they do not want any form of health care except their own version and did not like the elements that they wanted that the dems did incorporate in their bill

if this bill does not pass i think that the subject of health care is doomed

Clearly, for at least a generation.

Dennis voted against it, before he voted for it...

I am proud of him, he fought to get the best bill possable, but became a pragmist when it came down to getting something that is MUCH better than nuthing.

Please. He was paid for his support. What was offered we may never know, but that trip on that airplane changed him from somebody worthy of respect to just another bribed Congressperson.

You have some evidence of that charge?

I disagree. Never has the support for reform been higher among both parties. They just don't want this bill and believe that it isn't reform. What it is, is the government doing more of what we already do with no real change.

You're a disgrace. Who pays you to write this swill? You've got to be on the take.

The conservatives say they are for reform... but what did they do when they were very reciently in power? NUTHING!
