WASHINGTON (AP) — White House press officials altered the official transcript of a call in which President Joe Biden appeared to take a swipe at supporters of Donald Trump, drawing objections from the federal workers who document such remarks for posterity, according to two U.S. government officials and an






internal email obtained Thursday by The Associated Press.



Biden created an uproar earlier this week with his remarks to Latino activists responding to racist comments at a Trump rally made by the comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who referred to the U.S. island territory of Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”

Biden, according to a transcript prepared by the official White House stenographers, told the Latino group on a Tuesday evening video call, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

This may violate the Presidential Records Act of 1978 but, of course, no one will be prosecuted.

Why are you so sure which it was? There is absolutely no way to tell from the vocal...or intonation.

The president says he was referring back to the remarks by Hinchcliffe...which would make it "supporter's." You want to suggest he actually meant to refer to the garbage heap totality of fucking scumbags who make up his supporters...which would make it "supporters."

Basically Yes....The Garbage joke was to be used as the main reason Trump lost.....Biden fucked that up....now a new narrative will need to be found.
 
They changed "are" to "is" as well. "The only garbage I see out there are his supporters" to 'The only garbage I see out there is his supporter's'... (second one isn't a quote, it doesn't merit quote remarks). The sentence becomes extremely awkward and pResident Mushmouth Braindead wouldn't be able to get it out without derailing into a fictional account of his father watching gay people groping each other and calling it love.

That's declarative. (A declarative sentence is a regular, ordinary sentence—it declares, it states).

We heard what he said and now the far left loons are telling us that we didn't.

You do too... Pretending that when he said "are his supporters" it REALLY means "is his supporter's" is total rubbish. The altered transcript is literally an admission.

We know, you know. And, for Trump, this is even better than "the deplorables" from HillBillary Whinington.
