Moscow Mitch is old, ill, and very wealthy. He still cannot give up his march to a plutocracy. We know what he thinks of Trump. He gave a 20 minute speech after he saved the fat one from impeachment.

He's trying to balance support for the Republican Party, keep his elected position and hold off a narcissistic pedophile and traitor who wants to be the first Dictator of the United States.

This is why I could never be a salesman or a politician. LOL
 
It is about his legacy. He is the longest-termed Repub in history. He did some shitty things to save Trump and he fears history will connect him to him. So he is making a last-ditch shot to salvage his rep.

Republicans like Reagan , Bush I , and many others would NOT recognize what Trump and the MAGA have turned their party into.
It is a shame , I use to have some respect for the Republican party it was at least some what respectable back then.

Trump was handed a good economy , one that WAS still growing , and by NO action of his it was growing and He fucked that up.
MAGAS blame Biden for high gas prices but do NOT say a word about how Trump didn't do a fucking thing when the US oil producers first when to him and asked him to step in and help stop the Saudi , Russian oil price war , again HE didn't do a fucking thing UNTIL OVER 106 US oil drilling and producing companies went Bankrupt and OUT of business for GOOD, NEVER to return.
Then and ONLY then did He step in and told the Saudis to cut their production and RAISE their price of oil or he was going to STOP ALL Military aid to them, and they did.
The US oil producers / drillers sold off and scraped their drilling rigs.
The MOST oil the US producers did in one month under Trump was just over 13 MBPD for ONE month, and since Biden took over they have gone from 9.9MBPD in Feb 2021 to over 13 MBPD setting records almost EVERY month ever since Aug 2023.
Trump is saying " drill baby drill" well just what the hell are the oil drillers and producers going to use to drill baby drill WITH?
Pretty much EVERY oil drilling / producing rig is already being used and they have to build more.
So Trump is just trying to get his MAGA followers all riled up.

Two things trumpers do not want to talk about is how good things were when trump came to office, and how bad things were when he left office.

That is for sure. there are several others, One is what he didn't help the US oil drillers and producers when they FIRST went to him and asked him to step in and stop the Saudi oil price war, He didn't do anything until it was too late and over 100 Companies went bankrupt and out of business for good.
That is when he finally went to the Saudis and told them to stop or he was going to STOP all military aid, and they did, and increased oil prices.
And another on is they can't admit Trump COULD have given or sold some of our Secrets when he had his meetings with the 12 Russians in the W H and Putin and the Chinese in MAR all WITHOUT another AMERICAN let alone a Russian speaking AMERICAN in the room.
As I pointed out to them many of times it is awful funny that the NSA/ CIA/ FBI came out several weeks after these meetings and said there was an unexplained increased finding and killing of our deep cover agents.
As I said the can't admit that is a possibility it might be a small one but it IS still there.

IN FACT none of them could answer a simple yes or no question , and that was how do you know FOR SURE he didn't ? Could he have.?
