Map Shows Four States Warned of 30-Degree Drop in Temperatures
Freeze warnings are in place for four states in the Eastern U.S., with meteorologists warning that temperatures could drop as much as 30 degrees overnight in some of the affected areas.
On Thursday afternoon, several National Weather Service offices issued freeze warnings for Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. NWS meteorologists are warning that subfreezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit could "kill crops and other sensitive vegetation" overnight on Thursday.
"Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold," one of the freeze warnings said.
I guess that's why they call it climate change now. It used to be called the 4 seasons.
