Conservatives are always angry, all the time. They developed this mindset after 40 years of losing every debate with a liberal. They still haven't won one, but they're too drunk with anger to realize that fact.

Liberals have to face it. The only way we can survive in the future is by adopting the dirty tactics of conservatives. There is no debate anymore. No good faith progress. We must use anger and fear to fight anger and fear, fire to fight fire. Otherwise, conservatives will destroy America. They are the gravest danger this nation faces.

however, awareness of those tactics can help you adopt tactics to oppose them more effectively - the good guys do not always lose

Bittermark, I think the best tactic to take is to make people realize we are in the messes we are in because of the Republicon party and their conservative ideology. Truth. Especially people who work for a living and earn a paycheck. We need to somehow show them the truth and let them realize it's the conservative marketgod ideology thats gotten us into this mess and govt is here to regulate the economic royalists not the other way around. Ya gotta give it to the right tho, their propaganda machine is a powerful tool. Fear always is.

If we tell (maybe yell) the truth about how the Republicon party has gamed our governmental system for their personal and corporate sponsors profits we can defeat them and save this country. The only other way is to let them drive the people into poverty then unionize all labor. Republicons hate unions.

Is this now the new Democrat rally cry? "Republicans just want to scare you!" This is the second post today about "fear" being the only thing Republicans have going for them, and I just wondered if MoveOn.org and DailyKos had issued this as your marching orders. Can one of you pinheads confirm?

Anyway... I happen to think a LOT of Republicans in Washington are going to be unemployed come this Fall, it's going to surprise some people who aren't expecting it. the Tea Party revolt is not a purely "GOP" initiative, it is mostly independents. Their issues are not based in "fear" so much as "disgust" with what is happening in Washington, and they plan on letting their voices be heard, whether you make up shit to throw at them or not. For sure, the Dems are going to be sent packing, but I think many of the "Go-Along / Get-Along" crowd are destined for defeat as well. The Republican nominee for President in 2008, is currently in the fight of his career for his Senate seat, that should be an indicator of what is to come in November.

But look... I don't blame you Libtards for trying something new, maybe you can cajole people back into supporting you by calling them chicken shits? You sure as hell don't have any more "Hope and Change" to throw at them, and it's not like you can blame everything on Bush anymore, that's not working... so, I applaud you for at least TRYING to do something to save the sinking ship. I just think it's a futile effort, but we will see.
