What lives and dies, but was never alive?

A human organism, according to Apple!

He maintains that, although conception (fertilization) takes place, the living organism produced is not really alive yet. Apparently, a certain length of undetermined time needs to pass, before we can call the organism "living" even though it is behaving like every other living organism we've ever known.

He will point to the fact that 50% of these organisms die and spontaneously abort, therefore, they were never alive to begin with. Subsequently, since so many of them die and were never alive to begin with, the 50% that survived were not alive at that point either. Apparently, it is only when an organism is able to maintain the process of life indefinitely, that it can be called a living organism.

Since he has failed to provide us with any guidelines to determine how long an organism must maintain the process of living before being considered alive, and given that any percentage of failure to live is enough to deny the distinction of life to an organism, then we can deduce that no human currently living is actually alive. Unfortunately, 100% of all human organisms will eventually not be able to maintain the process of life. We will all ultimately "spontaneously abort" the process of living some day.

It saddens me to no end to inform you of this, I had such great hopes for humanity, but alas, you are all dead... non-living human organisms... a clump of meaningless cells, destined to spontaneously abort some day. Sorry... blame Apple... it's HIS argument!

Thanks! I am glad that you are as concerned about your non-living human status as I am! It was quite the shock for me to discover that I am not a living human organism! I feel just fine, my blood pressure is acceptable, cholesterol is in order, my heart is beating strongly, but since I will not be able to indefinitely sustain the process of life, according to Apple, I am not a living organism. It's very disheartening.

And of course the idiot will continue to ignore this thread because he thinks he has made his point in the other thread. Typical of pinheads... RUN APPLE RUN!

Did you really need to start another thread?

Well, since Stringy started a thread to discuss when life ends, and this sort of spawned from that discussion, I thought it would be the considerate thing to do, rather than continue to hijack his conversation. I know that isn't what most of you fuckwits do, you just barge in with your BUSH LIED bullshit wherever and whenever, without any regard for anyone else, but I try to maintain some respect for the integrity of the topic. So, in sort... yes, I did really need to start another thread, but thanks for your concern, fucktard, now move on!

So..... basically you wanted a chance to take what you were saying in one thread, probably over at least 100 posts (all your own, because let's face it, if we harnessed all the hot air you let out, we wouldn't need to worry about alternative fuels), and start another thread to say THE EXACT SAME THING?

Is there now some restriction on the number of threads that can be started to say the exact same thing? If so, I think we have several posters here who need to be banned. I bet I can count at least 1000 threads about the Iraq War from just the past few years, so why don't you go take a lengthy walk off a short pier?

IF 50% of conceptions spontaneously abort, and this nullifies their "humanity" on the basis they "couldn't sustain the life process", what about the other 50% which didn't spontaneously abort and eventually died at some other point down the road? All human organisms will ultimately not be able to "carry on the process" so does that mean none of us are living human organisms?
