This latest thing with Palin has got me rolling in the floor laughing with beer shooting out my nose (ROFLWBSOMN!) It's just typical of the loony left! They couldn't pin any kind of ethics scandal on her... they couldn't destroy her reputation by attacking her family with tabloid-style rumors... they ran her out of the governors seat with the harassing attempts to bring her down... they spoof her weekly on their comedy shows... they even cozy up to beltway republican elites, whom they revile the most, in order to smear her at every opportunity.... and now they have resorted to this! She made notes on her hand before a speech and subsequent Q&A to follow. Nothing huge, she didn't have a secret love child with another man while her husband lay at home dying of cancer... she didn't get drunk and drive her car off a bridge and let someone drown... didn't rent her home out to a male prostitution ring... didn't "forget" to file her income taxes... she didn't even have sex with her intern... nope, she just wrote a few words on her hand before a speech! She's clearly unelectable!

Hey liberals... I bet you can find that Palin sometimes blows her nose on a paper napkin instead of a tissue! Wouldn't THAT be a scandal! I mean, it would really show everyone what a neanderthal knuckledragger she really is... a paper napkin instead of a tissue, hmpf! Probably cooks her food over an open pit somewhere, right?

And then, there is the ever-hysterical fear from the left, which they try to hide by swearing up and down they aren't the least bit worried about this 'airhead beauty pageant winner', where they can't seem to comprehend she hasn't announced a run for the presidency in 2012. I guess this isn't surprising, they couldn't seem to comprehend she wasn't running for president in 2008! You'll recall how they kept making comparisons to her and Obama, claiming that she really hoped geezer McCain croaked, and she would be president.

Now you would think, with their party on the proverbial ropes, their precious health care plans thwarted and doomed, cap and trade may as well be dead too, continual declines in their already waning poll numbers, and no real signs of economic growth and prosperity on the horizon to save them in the mid-terms.... you would think they could find more important things to focus on than Sarah Palin's palm.
 
As I've said, having notes for a speech is no big deal, but you have to admit, it's pretty funny; especially the notes that were on there.

It really is like Obama having "hope, change, yes we can" on his hand (and you know you'd be having a field day if he did)....

Is that an admission that the notes were not the answers to "pre-screened" questions for her Q and A.....?
Thats what you moron friends are saying...after all, she glanced at her hand during the Q and A....

Even though what was written on her hand had nothing to do with any of the questions she was asked....

What's really funny to me, is how the liberal left is acting like this is some kind of big deal... You claim she is insignificant, can't possibly be elected, doesn't stand a chance, is way out of her league and over her head... but you all seem so obsessed with every little aspect of Sarah Palin! That's really funny to me... why would you give two shits, if she was no threat?

Me thinks you know she is a very REAL threat, and these sort of "gotchya" moments are designed to perpetually "do battle" against a potential enemy. Even though, she has not said whether she plans to run for president, hasn't made any announcement on a platform, hasn't even established an exploratory committee, as far as I know. For all intents and purposes, Sarah Palin isn't even on the radar for the Republican nomination of 2012, and much of what she is speaking about in her appearances to Tea Party groups, is extremely critical of status quot Republican politics.

Yet.... here you all are, ripping and snorting to tear into Palin at the drop of a hat, over superfluous nonsense like scribbling a note on her hand! It's hilariously funny to me!

It is odd. Somebody preparing for a speech like that should have a few post-it notes. It may be that she simply forgot her pre-prepared notes and realized it at the last moment.. or she's just weird.

It made her look like a child and makes for easy jokes at her expense.

Help me out here, people. I really tried not to rip & snort.

And yes, Dix - I have already stated, the prospect of Palin actually becoming President is terrifying to me, and should be to anyone who wants America at a bare minimum to represent sanity.
 
You guys are funny, noone is making this a scandal or a huge deal except you!

Its no big deal.... But it was funny. If President Obama had written notes on his hand you would be all over the place with it. Hell, he uses the teleprompter too much for you and you go hog wild on it!

Well, usually when Republicans act like it's a big deal, there is someone dead, or having their life destroyed forever, because of something a Democrat did. I can't recall Republicans ever criticizing a Democrat for writing a note on their hand, God knows it may have done Biden some good... he could have written; DON'T INSULT INDIAN PEOPLE! Maybe it would have saved him an embarrassing moment? Or maybe he could have written: DON'T REFER TO OBAMA AS "CLEAN!"

I disagree that it made her look like a child, I think it made Liberals look childish and desperate. To me, it made her look absolutely "normal" ...it's the kind of thing a lot of us normal folk might do before a big speech. And that's the whole thing about Palin you all don't seem to get... she appeals to "average Americans" across the board. Even average Americans who voted for Barack Obama in the last election.
