Jared Kushner Makes Horrific Pitch for Gaza’s “Waterfront Property”

Kushner praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s beachfront property during a talk at Harvard University earlier this month, and essentially advocated for ethnic cleansing so Israel could develop the region.

“Gaza’s waterfront property could be very valuable … if people would focus on building up livelihoods,” Kushner told his interviewer, Harvard’s Middle East Initiative faculty chair Tarek Masoud, on March 8.

It is becoming painful clear that the world is in real trouble if trump is elected.

Moving 2.4 million people for a 10% increase in beaches for Israel is a crazy idea. No one wants to take the Gazans. Israel would have to kill them, which would really be genocide.

And just saying that is stupid. It is worth remembering that jared is trump's go to guy for the middle east. Do you think anyone would trust jared now?

Kushner is correct if the Palestinians tried to develop the Gaza strip it could be spectacular property. Tel Aviv is a vacation spot on the Mediterranean and is 44 miles from Gaza.

Trump got peace accords with some of Israel's. Biden was elected and the Mid East erupted in war. the World does not need 4 more years of Biden.

What Gaza needs is to finally get rid of Hamas, hand it over to the PA and then develop the country. What's wrong with tourism, if Israel, Tunisia and Syria can do then why not Gaza? Maybe they could open up the tunnels like they did in Vietnam?

All sane people agree with that. There are a lot of problems to solve along that path. Not least of which is Hamas does not want to be gotten rid of, and the Palestinian Authority is hollowed out.

Lebanon has tourism. Egypt has tourism. Does Syria have tourism?

Gaza is a bit crowded for tourism, but I have no problem with the Palestinians making tourism work.

Vietnam was a natural ally of the USA, once we left them alone to decide what they wanted for themselves.

About a quarter of Syria's population are external refugees now, and about a quarter are internal displaced people. Maybe a million people are so are in some form of prison camps.

The Syrian Civil War continues, so they have no time to rebuild, or remove the mines. That means that anywhere you go in Syria, you probably want to only walk where others have walked.

There are regular kidnappings, which means that anyone rich enough to be an international tourist is in trouble.

All in all, Ukraine would be a much nicer and safer holiday location... As would Lebanon, Iran, North Korea, etc.

Gaza has some excellent beaches it is ripe for tourism once Hamas has been liquidated.
