Considering he supports the killing of George Floyd and Tyre Nichols where no rounds were fired, I doubt there is anything you or I could say that would persuade him to see the difference.

Ashli Babbitt was the first to penetrate the final barrier between police and the members of Congress they were protecting. There should be no doubt that after about 2 hours of attack, that the terrorist mob would follow Babbitt through the broken window to "hang Mike Pence" and harm the members of Congress. If others had followed Babbitt, they'd have been shot too.

Were it up to me, I'd have started shooting as soon as Trump's terrorists broke through the police line into Congress. Next time, that's probably what will happen. I have zero tolerance of terrorists, traitors and violent criminals. Hunt them down and put them down.

My guess is that the POTUS of the time blocked them from a more efficient response. There was plenty of intel, but effective measures were not put into place.
