Trump to far-right extremists: ‘Stand back and stand by’

Published 12:52 PM MDT, September 30, 2020

“I’m willing to do anything. I want to see peace,” Trump said. “What do you want to call them? Give me a name.”

“Proud Boys,” Democrat Joe Biden chimed in, referencing a far-right extremist group that has shown up at protests in the Pacific Northwest. The male-only group of neo-fascists describes themselves as “western chauvinists,” and they have been known to incite street violence.

“Proud Boys, stand back and stand by,” Trump said.

And they did stand by. They led the violent attack on the Capitol Jan 6.

The use of "bloodbath" was not accidental. It is not a good descriptor for a tariff. Trump uses and chooses violent words to send messages. Calling immigrants not people but animals, says they have less value than people like him and Trumpys and makes them dispensable. This entire speech was repulsive and cruel. It was not how you want America's top diplomat to talk. Trump is low-level and embarrassing at the least and a threat to the American system at his worst.

Come on, only “Trump being Trump,” remember when we used to hear “you just don’t understand Trump’s humor?”

Just remember, for the Left their hypocrisy, lies, hyperbole, and hysterical ranting only counts while they are saying it. One nanosecond after they've said it, it no longer does.
