I have to agree. When I first joined this forum, I had come from and was used to a heavily moderated forum where I wasn't ready for the degree of nazi wingnut trolling that happens here. My ignore list quickly grew to a point where I realized most of the magas were on it. So, with very minor exception, I took everyone off. I also use the "hide signature" function so it's it's pretty easy to scroll by the trolls. I'm doing fine now.

Yes, agree. It takes a while to get used to the fact some really have nothing else to do but log in and harass others.

I was only on one board with that kind of moderation. It even had a 'curse blocker' that would hide anything that resembled a pejorative. Easily sidestepped by adding a space between letters. That did make the mods' heads explode.

As is typical of highly moderated boards, it was mostly Right Wing morons. A handful came here, but are long gone.

BulletBob was one. He probably died of Covid. I left there after informing the board that I reported the entire site to the FBI after Jan. 6.. Many were openly admitting long before the 6th that there were big plans for violence ahead.

I use my ignore feature to its fullest. I'm simply not interested in any of the blather that a vast group here posts. Sailor is one of a few that I go way back with, so I allow him to show up on my pages.

He's actually capable if intelligence, but simply refuses.

I know him for so many years, it's sad to see him devolve into a self loathing troll.

Worse yet is Dummkopf/Anatta and that other sock he uses. We go back decades to the first board I was ever on. I would say that his loss of mental capacity is the saddest.

I think a lot of it is the guilt of backing a manic, ignorant, nazi demigod is driving the right crazy. They mask their shame by attacking those who don't.

I think you give them too much credit. They aren't capable of guilt, or shame.

They do indeed suffer innate self loathing, as seen by the fact that they can never post anything positive.
